1. Scope and Purpose

These Terms and Conditions of Sale ("Terms") govern all sales made through the website "greatbigebooks" (the "Website"). By placing an order on the Website, the customer (the "Customer") agrees to be bound by these Terms without reservation.

greatbigebooks reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. The applicable Terms are those in effect at the time of the order.

2. Products

greatbigebooks offers books and digital book products (the "Products") for sale through its Website. Product descriptions, images, and specifications are provided for informational purposes only. While we strive for accuracy, minor variations may occur.

Digital products are delivered electronically. Physical products, where applicable, are delivered to the address provided by the Customer.

3. Prices

All prices are displayed in the currency indicated on the Website and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.

Shipping fees, where applicable, are indicated before order confirmation.

greatbigebooks reserves the right to modify its prices at any time. However, Products will be invoiced at the price in effect at the time the order is confirmed.

4. Orders

Orders are placed directly on the Website. The Customer must provide accurate and complete information during the ordering process.

An order is considered final once payment has been successfully completed and the Customer receives an order confirmation email.

greatbigebooks reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order in case of suspected fraud, unauthorized transactions, payment issues, or violation of these Terms.

5. Payment

Payments are processed securely through Stripe or other approved payment providers.

By submitting payment information, the Customer represents and warrants that they are authorized to use the selected payment method.

Payment is due in full at the time of order. In case of payment failure or chargeback, greatbigebooks reserves the right to suspend or cancel the order and any related services.

greatbigebooks does not store full payment card details. All transactions are processed in compliance with applicable payment security standards, including PCI-DSS requirements.

6. Delivery

Digital Products are delivered electronically to the email address provided by the Customer or via download link after payment confirmation.

Physical Products, where applicable, are delivered to the address specified by the Customer during the order process.

Delivery times are estimates and may vary. greatbigebooks shall not be liable for delays caused by carriers or events beyond its reasonable control.

The Customer is responsible for providing accurate delivery information. Additional costs resulting from incorrect information may be charged to the Customer.

7. Right of Withdrawal

For physical products, the Customer has the right to withdraw from the purchase within fourteen (14) days from the date of receipt, without giving any reason.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Customer must notify greatbigebooks in writing within the withdrawal period.

Returned Products must be unused and in their original condition. Return shipping costs are borne by the Customer unless otherwise required by law.

For digital products, the right of withdrawal does not apply once the download or access has begun with the Customer’s prior express consent and acknowledgment that they thereby lose their right of withdrawal, in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.

8. Refunds

Refunds, where applicable, will be processed using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless otherwise agreed.

Refunds will be issued within fourteen (14) days after approval of the return or withdrawal request.

In case of payment disputes or chargebacks initiated through Stripe or the Customer’s bank, greatbigebooks reserves the right to provide relevant transaction and order information to the payment provider to resolve the dispute.

9. Guarantees

greatbigebooks provides legal guarantees as required by applicable consumer protection laws.

In the event of a defective or non-conforming physical Product, the Customer may request repair, replacement, or refund in accordance with applicable legal provisions.

For digital Products, greatbigebooks guarantees that the files provided are accessible and conform to their description at the time of delivery.

10. Complaints

Any complaint must be submitted in writing through the contact information provided on the Website.

The Customer should provide order details and a clear description of the issue. greatbigebooks will make reasonable efforts to respond within a reasonable timeframe.

11. Liability

greatbigebooks shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Products, except where prohibited by law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such limitation is not permitted by applicable law.

12. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable in the country where greatbigebooks is established, without regard to conflict of law principles.

In the event of a dispute, the parties shall seek an amicable solution prior to initiating legal proceedings. Failing such resolution, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts in accordance with applicable law.
